About Top Paw K9 Denver

Top Paw K9 Denver wasn’t created because Denver needed another dog daycare. It was created because we believed dogs deserved something better.

 

After years of professionally training dogs through Top Paw K9 Academy, we noticed a pattern. Dogs would make incredible progress during training, only to spend their days in environments that offered little structure, minimal mental stimulation, and no opportunity to continue building the skills they had worked so hard to learn.

 

We knew there had to be a better way.

 

So we created Top Paw K9 Denver—a trainer-designed dog day camp where every part of your dog’s day has a purpose. Instead of simply supervising dogs until pickup, we provide structured enrichment, thoughtfully managed socialization, adventure outings, pack walks, confidence-building exercises, and real-world experiences that encourage better behavior, healthier minds, and happier dogs.

 

Top Paw K9 Denver is proudly operated under Top Paw K9 Academy, our professional dog training company dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build lasting relationships through education, communication, and real-world training. Every philosophy, activity, and decision at our day camp is rooted in the same training principles that have made Top Paw K9 Academy trusted by dog owners throughout Colorado.

 

Meet the Founder

 

Top Paw K9 Academy was founded by Jennifer Worswick, a U.S. Navy veteran and professional dog trainer with more than seven years of experience specializing in canine psychology, behavior, and real-world training.

 

Throughout her career, Jennifer has worked with everything from family companions and puppies to complex behavioral cases, service dogs, and working dogs in protection, sport, and detection. Her philosophy has always been simple: dogs don’t just need to learn commands—they need to understand how to navigate the real world with confidence.

 

Unlike many training programs that take place almost entirely inside a facility, Top Paw K9 Academy uses the training building to establish a strong foundation before taking those skills into everyday life. Dogs are exposed to parks, retail stores, sidewalks, public spaces, and a wide variety of environments where they learn to remain calm, focused, and reliable despite real-world distractions.

 

That same philosophy is what makes Top Paw K9 Denver different.

 

Our day camp isn’t designed to simply tire dogs out—it’s designed to help them grow. Every adventure, field trip, enrichment activity, social interaction, and training opportunity is intentionally planned by trainers who understand canine behavior and how dogs learn best.
